Eagles Cruise to Second Straight Win at Siena

LATHAM, NY. – Boston College hit the road to take on Siena on Sunday evening at Tri-City Fitness, cruising past the Saints by a final score of 7-0.

BC picked up its second consecutive win and improved to 2-6 (0-6 ACC) while Siena fell to 1-1 overall.

The Eagles came out firing on all cylinders, led by the doubles tandem of Max Motlagh and Sean Mullins. The duo cruised to a doubles victory, beating Tomas del Olmo and Gui Lopez Torres 6-0. The team of Shreekar Eedara and Mason Fung secured the opening point with a 6-3 win in second doubles.Â

BC continued its momentum into singles play, sweeping all six matches. Notable straight set victories came from Motlagh, Eedara, Max Mendelsohn, and Will Kasten. Mullins and Santiago Montufar each went to a third set superbreaker, and both came out victorious.

Boston College carries its two-match win streak back into ACC play next weekend as the Eagles hit the road to take on Duke (Apr. 2) and North Carolina (Apr. 3).
