BC opens 2021 outdoor season in Atlanta with several top times and marks

ATLANTA, Ga. — The Boston College women's indoor track & field team competed at the Yellow Jacket Invitational at Georgia Tech's George C. Griffin Track in Atlanta. The meet was held on March 19-20.

Marne Sullivan led the way in the 800m, finishing second in a time of 2:11.32. Katherine Mitchell finished close behind, clocking 2:11.98 in fourth place.

Anna Oeser was second in the 1,500m, crossing the line in 4:27.68. Kylee Raftis was second overall in the 2,000m steeplechase, registering a time of 6:51.50.

The Eagles' 4x400m relay team of Anna Cleary, Marne Sullivan, Sarah Heckel, and Katherine Mitchell was third in a time of 3:54.18.
