BC Swept by Clemson in Raleigh

Eagles fall in straight sets to start weekend in North Carolina.
RALEIGH, N.C. -- The Boston College volleyball team was swept by Clemson at NC State's Reynolds Coliseum on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers won in straight sets by scores of 26-24, 25-16 and 25-20.
Sophomore right side Izzy Clavenna (Dallas, Texas) led the Eagles with eight kills on a .438 attack percentage. Freshman setter Grace Penn (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) dished out 18 assists and classmate Sophia Lambros (Fullerton, Calif.) added 10 assists, four aces and four digs.
Clemson's Camryn Hannah tallied 17 kills and hit .333. McKenna Slavik posted 30 assists.
BC plays the host Wolfpack Sunday at 1 p.m. on ACCNX.
