White Races At NCAA Championship

Places 62nd overall; clocking 21:12.6 for the 6K course
STILLWATER, Okla. — Lauren White placed 62nd overall at the 2021 NCAA Women's Cross Country Championship. White covered the six-kilometer course in a time of 21:12.6.
She was the ninth finisher among all ACC runners - and the 11th individual competitor - to cross the finish line at the national championship meet.
The meet was held at the OSU Cross Country course. The course begins with a straightaway containing a gradual downhill and uphill grade. It splits into two loops - the left side is a relatively flat one-mile loop and the right heads into a wooded section featuring loops and lots of hills. Within these wooded loops, each step is either climbing or descending. The finish is composed of a climb from the lowest elevation to its highest before a final steep downhill straightaway.
