NEWTON, Mass. – The Boston College field hockey team shutout New Hampshire, 2-0, on Friday, March 12 at the Newton Field Hockey Complex.
BC didn't allow a goal on nine total shots with Jonna Kennedy making seven saves in net. BC out-shot UNH, 26-9, and had 14 penalty corners.
Jaime Natale opened the scoring for BC, finding the ball just outside the circle and dribbling it to the center of the field before beating the goalkeeper a little over five minutes into the game.
The Eagles dominated the first frame of the game, outshooting UNH, 10-2 with six penalty corners.
BC would be scoreless for the next 30 minutes until Margo Carlin found Elizabeth Warner in the center of the circle to score her fourth goal of the season.
Darcy Clement and Fusine Govaert added defensive saves as well.
What's Next
BC is back at home tomorrow afternoon for a matchup with Vermont at 3 p.m. on ACCNX.
