McLaughlin Earns Hockey East Player of the Week Award

WAKEFIELD, Mass. – Junior Marc McLaughlin was named the Hockey East Player of the Week on Monday, becoming the third different Eagle to receive the honor this season and the seventh to win a weekly league award.
Boston College's captain had a goal and three assists for four points in a weekend sweep of Maine at Kelley Rink. He posted his seventh and eighth multi-point games of the season and led the team with a plus-3 rating on the weekend.
McLaughlin is tied for second in Hockey East in points per game with a career-high 22 points in 19 games. He ranks third in the league in both total goals with nine and plus-minus at plus-17.
No. 1 Boston College has won four straight games and sits at 15-3-1 overall heading into the penultimate weekend of the regular season. Hockey East will announce its weekly schedule on Tuesday.
