
Hockey East Announces Weekly Schedule, Battle of Comm Ave On Deck

WAKEFIELD, Mass. – The Battle of Commonwealth Avenue is set to be renewed again this weekend, with Hockey East announcing a home-and-home series between Boston College and Boston University as part of its weekly schedule on Tuesday.
The Terriers will make the trip to Kelley Rink on Friday, Feb. 19 for a 2 p.m. puck drop. The sixth-ranked Eagles will then make the 3.5 mile trip down the road on Saturday for a 4:30 p.m. puck drop at Walter Brown Arena. Both contests will be shown live on NESN+, and the games will also be made available on CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports app outside of New England.
BC enters the series at 13-3-0 while BU comes in at 5-4-0. The Eagles topped No. 10 Providence, 2-1, in overtime last weekend while the Terriers split a two-game series with Vermont.
The remainder of the 2020-21 season will continue to be scheduled on a weekly basis by Hockey East.
