Meet the Captains

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College men's soccer head coach Bob Thompson has announced the captains for the 2020-21 season. Ian Buehler, Gregorio Barilla, Christian Garner and David Longo will lead the Eagles.
Garner, a junior, appeared in 12 games with nine starts in 2019. The goalkeeper finished the season with 54 saves and a .794 save percentage. Buehler has played in eight games for the Eagles, including a career-high six last season as a junior. Barilla, a two-time All-ACC Academic Honor Roll member, earned his debut as an Eagle last season at Virginia Tech. Longo made an immediate impact since transferring to the Heights ahead of the 2018 season and has gone on to start all 34 of BC's contests over the last two season.
