Eagles finish up tomorrow at Clemson live on ACC Network Extra
CLEMSON, S.C.— The Boston College women's track & field team finished up the first day of competition at the Tiger Paw Invitational, held at the Clemson Indoor Track & Field Complex.
Maureen Lewin placed sixth in the mile run, clocking a time of 4:59.51. Sarah Flynn was ninth, in a time of 5:02.46. Two other Eagles - Miriam Ruoff (14th, 5:12.47) and Astrid Snall (15th, 5:13.33) - also competed in the mile.
Jessica Creedon and Morgan Halt competed in the long jump and 60m hurdles on Friday. Creedon took 20th in the long jump, registering a mark of 5.15m (16'10.75"). She also clocked a time of 9.35 in the hurdles, good for 39th place. Halt's best jump of the day was a 4.92m (16'1.75") and crossed the line in the hurdles in a time of 9.82 (42nd).
A trio of BC runners competed in the 400m. Sarah Heckel was 23rd overall in a time of 59.42, followed by Anna Cleary in 24th place (59.67), and Kyla Krawczyk in 25th (59.93).
