The women’s hockey team will meet Providence for two games this weekend, squaring off at Kelley Rink on Friday and at Schneider Arena on Saturday.

Friday's game is scheduled for a 2:00 p.m. puck drop while Saturday's tilt is slated for a 3:00 p.m. start. Both contests will be shown live on NESN, and the games will also be made available on CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports app outside of New England.

 WHAT'S ON TAP
• Boston College and Providence College will meet for a home-and-home series this weekend, facing off at Kelley Rink on Friday and at Schneider Arena on Saturday.
• The two teams met back in November, with the Friars sweeping the two-game series with a pair of 3-2 wins … the Friars hold the edge in the overall series at 40-38-3 but BC is 6-4-0 in the last 10 meetings.

• BC enters the weekend at 12-3-0, last having played a two-game series with UConn, Jan. 30-31 ... the Eagles swept the Huskies that weekend, earning a 3-2 win at Kelley Rink and then a 4-0 win in Storrs.
• Kelly Browne leads the team in scoring with 18 points on six goals and 12 assists, good for third in Hockey East ... Browne is also tied for second in the nation with six multi-point game and ranks fifth in points and face-off wins (183).
• Savannah Norcross is fourth in Hockey East with 16 points on nine goals and seven assists ... her nine goals tie for the league lead and fourth in the nation.
• Hadley Hartmetz is second nationally among defenders in scoring with 12 points on one goal and 11 helpers, with her assists tying for tops in the country among blue liners ... additionally she has been on the ice for 26 even-strength goals, which ranks second nationally.
• The Eagles have had 13 different goal scorers so far this season while 16 different players have recorded at least two points and seven players have at least 10 points each.
• Maddy McArthur is 5-1-0 with a .921 save percentage and 2.55 goals against average ... Abigail Levy holds a 4-1-0 mark with a 1.17 goals against average, .961 save percentage and one shutout ... Kelly Pickreign has gone 3-1-0 in net with a 1.76 goals against average and .927 save percentage ... BC is the only team in the country with three goaltenders with multiple wins.

ABOUT PROVIDENCE
• The Friars enter the two-game series at 10-5-1 after a split of a home-and-home series with New Hampshire last weekend ... Providence fell 1-0 in the first game and then skated to a 5-4 win the next day ... Lindsay Bochna scored two goals over the final 15 minutes of that win and earned Hockey East Rookie of the Week honors for her efforts.
• Sara Hjalmarsson leads Providence with 15 points on five goals and 10 assists, including five points on the power play ... Caroline Peterson has five goals and six assists for 11 points while Bailey Burton (3-7-10) and Brooke Becker (2-8-10) have chipped in 10 points each ... Burton has a team-leading 57 shots on goal.
• Matt Kelly is in his third year as head coach of the Friars ... PC was tabbed fifth in the Hockey East Preseason Coaches' Poll.

• Boston College is 38-40-3 all-time against Providence since elevating to Division I status for the 1995-96 season.

• Kelly Browne needs six more face-off wins to reach 1,000 for her career ... she would be the first BC player to reach 1,000 face-off wins as a junior since Alex Carpenter did it during her 2014-15 junior season.

• She opened up the season with a career-long six-game point streak and has points in 11 out of 15 contests.
• Browne was named the Hockey East Player of the Week on Dec. 7 for her three goal, one assist weekend against UConn.
• The junior recorded 36 points on 13 goals and 23 assists a season ago while earning Hockey East Third Team All-Star honors.
• Browne currently hast 994 face-off wins, needing six more to reach 1,000 for her career ... her single-game career high for wins is 21, coming in a 3-3 tie with Maine on Oct. 26, 2019.
