Boston College and Northeastern renew their rivalry on NESN+ at 7 p.m.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Top-ranked Boston College makes the short trip to Matthews Arena on Tuesday night (Feb. 2) to face No. 14 Northeastern on NESN+ at 7 p.m. Fans outside New England can view the game for free on SportsLive. Radio coverage begins at 6:45 p.m. on WEEI 850 AM and BCEagles.com.Â
BCÂ is tied for the third-longest active unbeaten streak in the country (4-0-1), while the Huskies have won three straight overall but have not played since Jan. 13. Northeastern is 5-3-0 in the last eight meetings between the schools, but the Eagles are 6-1-1 in their last eight visits to Matthews.
SCOUTING THE HUSKIES
• Northeastern (6-3-2) rides a three-game winning streak into Tuesday but hasn't played since a dominant 7-0 home win over UNH on Jan. 13
• Captain Zach Solow had four points on Jan. 13 against New Hampshire and leads the team in scoring with six goals and seven assists for 13 points
• Junior defenseman Jordan Harris has five goals and five assists and is tied with four other players for second on the squad in points
• Sophomore Connor Murphy has started all 11 games between the pipes with a 2.42 goals against average and a .921 save percentage
