Both teams had winning records for the day

WALTHAM, Mass. – The Boston College fencing team had a successful day at the Brandeis Invitational on Sunday, Dec. 5.

The men went 3-1 and had their first wins against No. 10 Yale, and No. 8 Saint John's in the last ten years. They also picked up a win against Incarnate Word.

The women went 3-2, downing Incarnate Word and Wellesley. They also beat No. 11 Saint John's for the second year in a row.

"All squads fenced at our above their level all day," said Head Coach Brendan Doris-Pierce. "The next step for us is to keep this momentum through the break and get ready for the demanding back half of our schedule."
