The Friars picked up a 2-1 win at Schneider Arena.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College Friars topped the seventh-ranked Boston College women's hockey team, 2-1, on Friday afternoon at Schneider Arena.
Gaby Roy opened the scoring midway through the second period but Hunter Barnett scored twice for Providence to give the hosts the win.

- 2nd, 9:18 | 1-0, BC GOAL: Willow Corson worked to gain control of the puck in the corner before Roy took it and went across the top of the crease before backhanding a shot at the far post.
- 2nd, 17:46 | 1-1, PC GOAL: Brooke Becker's point shot was deflected at the top of the crease by Hunter Barnett.
- 3rd, 15:40 | 1-2, PC GOAL: Off of a 2-on-1, Ashley Clark's shot rebounded to Barnett for a finish inside the left post.
- Boston College had the 43-36 lead in shots on goal … the Eagles were 0-for-4 on the power play while Providence was 0-for-2.
- BC now holds a record of 39-41-3 in the all-time series with Providence since elevating to Division I status for the 1995-96 season … the Eagles are 17-21-1 on the road … head coach Katie Crowley is now 32-10-3 in her career against Providence.
- Gaby Roy scored her third goal of the season ... she now has seven points on three goals and four assists.
- Maddie Crowley-Cahill led BC with nine shots on goal.
