Eagles Announce Six Signees on National Signing Day

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's soccer team and head coach Jason Lowe announced the signing of six players to its Class of 2026 on Wednesday, with the class being ranked 20th overall in the nation by Top Drawer Soccer.

"Pulling together our highest ranked recruiting class in the middle of a pandemic speaks volumes to how hard my staff works," said Lowe. "We're returning an experienced group next fall and this class will fit in perfectly. They are a well-rounded group of high character people who bring a ton of talent and personality. We'll have more additions to announce this spring but I am excited about our team and what we've been rebuilding here at BC."

The new Eagles arrive from five states with one each coming from Maine, Massachusetts, North Carolina and Ohio and two from Connecticut. The six athletes that signed their National Letter of Intent include three midfielders, one forward and two defenders.

Reilly Johnson

Before BC: Has played her club soccer for Wilmington Hammerheads Youth FC since 2018, the last two seasons coming under Will Heaney … an ECNL All-Conference Selection for 2020-21 … also ECNL Regional and All-Conference selection in 2019 … an All-Conference, All-Region and All-Area honoree for her high school in 2019 … member of the National Honor Society … father, Craig, played soccer at Wake Forest.

Riley Kerber

Before BC: Has played her club soccer for Internationals Soccer Club for Jitka Klimkova and Keri Sarver since 2017 … ranked 153rd overall, 54th overall midfielder and 10th overall in the Great Lakes Region by Top Drawer Soccer … attended the U19 WNT camp in April 2021 … named to the 2021 All-American Game … 2021 GCC Player of the Year … OVC ECNL All-Conference First Team in 2019 and Second Team in 2020 … also played three seasons of high school soccer, scoring 35 goals and adding 19 assists … First Team All-County and Second Team All-Conference in 2018, Second Team All-Conference in 2019 and All-Conference, All-State and conference MVP in 2021 … named to the All-American West team … member of the National Honor Society.
