Megan Kramer Breaks into All-Time Performers List in Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. — In the second dual meet of the season, the Eagles competed at Duke University against the Blue Devils and the UNC Wilmington Seahawks. The men fell to Duke and UNC Wilmington while the women went 1-1 with a 266-162 victory over UNC Wilmington.

Freshman Megan Kramer made waves for the Eagles, recording four swims that now rank in the top-ten all-time performances in Boston College history:

4th all-time in the 500 Free
7th all-time in the 200 Fly
T-3rd all-time in the 100 Individual Medley
6th all-time in the 200 Individual Medley

Kramer's performance in the 500 Free was enough to earn her the victory in that event as well.

The Eagles also took the victory in the 200 Freestyle relay, led by the team of Katie Drumm, Haley Dolan, Sofia Zinis, and Gigi Baldacci.

The Eagles will compete at Northeastern along with Drexel this Friday and Saturday.

Men's Highlights
• Zachary Szmania placed second in the men's 1000 Freestyle (9:27.98) and third in the 500 Freestyle (4:34.90)
• Matt Szekely finished second in the 50 Butterfly with a time of 22.19
• Finished second in the 200 Freestyle Relay (Damion Geoghegan Ribeiro, Alexander Santana, Matt Szekely, Sam Roche)
• Dale Nickerson earned 4th place on the 3-meter board

• Finished first in the 200 Freestyle Relay
• Megan Kramer won the 500 Freestyle with a time of 4:56.98
• Livy Poulin earned 4th place on the 3-meter board
• Gigi Baldacci was the Eagles' top finisher the 200 Breaststroke with a time of 2:24.95
