Boston College Competes at ACC Championship

Eagles place 13th as a team
NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Boston College finished 13th at the 2021 ACC Cross Country Championship at Burke Golf Course in South Bend, Ind. this morning.
David Scherrer was the first Eagles' runner to cross the finish line in 96th place at 25:38.9 for the eight-kilometer course.
Next up for Boston College was Steven Jackson in 105th at 26:07.7 with Andrew Healey close behind in 106th at 26:11.8.
Jack Carter (121st, 26:53.4) and John Seiberlich (126th, 27:09.4) finished out the scorers for Boston College.
Will Purnell (128th, 27:37.0) and John Wacker (130th, 28:02.8) rounded out the finishers for the Eagles.
As a team, the Eagles compiled 436 points for their 13th place finish. Host and No. 8 ranked Notre Dame took home the team title with 32 points.
