Eagles Finish 18th at Pre-National Meet

Anna Oeser was the top finisher for BC, clocking a personal-best time for 6K (20:45.2)
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Boston College raced at the FSU Invite/Pre-National Meet this morning at Apalachee Regional Park.
The Eagles were led by Anna Oeser, who finished 58th overall in a time of 20:45.2 for the six-kilometer course. Apalachee Regional Park will host the 2021 NCAA Championships on Nov. 20. It is an 18-second personal-best time for Oeser on this 6K course.
Lauren White crossed the line in 69th place, clocking 20:53.4 as BC's second finisher. Sarah Flynn was 93rd (21:07.7), followed by Paige Carter (115th, 21:22.6), and Kayla Smith (157th, 21:51.8) as the Eagles' scorers.
Kylee Raftis (158th, 21:53.1), Sorcha McAllister (186th, 22:17.3), and Ella Whitman (200th, 22:32.9) rounded out the Boston College finishers.
As a team, Boston College finished 18th overall with a team score of 482. The Eagles were fifth among ACC schools in the field of 33 teams. No. 5 Colorado won the team race with a score of 54, followed by No. 10 Utah in second and No. 15 Florida State in third. No. 14 Ole Miss and No. 12 North Carolina rounded out the top five.
