Battle of Comm Ave Set to Resume This Weekend

No. 1 BC will host No. 15 BU at Kelley Rink on Friday at 7 p.m. on NESN+
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Top-ranked Boston College and No. 15 Boston University will renew their historic rivalry this weekend in the Battle of Comm Ave as Hockey East announced its weekly schedule on Tuesday afternoon.
The Eagles host the Terriers in the 283rd all-time meeting between the schools on Friday (Feb. 5) at 7 p.m. on NESN+ at Kelley Rink. The series concludes on Saturday (Feb. 6) at 7 p.m. on SportsLive in the teams' first meeting at Walter Brown Arena since 2004.
Boston College is unbeaten (4-0-1) in its last five regular season meetings with Boston University, including a pair of wins last year. The Eagles clinched their 17th Hockey East Regular Season Title at Agganis Arena with a 4-1 victory on Feb. 29, 2020.
The Terriers are 5-1-0 through six games this season and sit 15th in both national polls. BC (4-0-1) and BU (5-0-0) are currently tied for the longest active unbeaten streaks in the country (5).
The Eagles travel to face No. 14 Northeastern tonight at 7 p.m. on NESN+ and WEEI 850 AM from Matthews Arena.
