BC Softball Announces 2021 Schedule

Eagles open the season Feb. 12 in Jacksonville
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College head softball coach Amy Kvilhaug announced the 2021 schedule on Wednesday.
"We are super excited to have solidified our 2021 schedule after the loss of a season in 2020," said Kvilhaug. "The anticipation across the country of having college softball back this spring is as high as I've ever seen it. We are grateful to the administration of Boston College, the ACC and the NCAA for doing everything they could in working through the challenges to make our season a reality."
The season starts on Friday, February 12 with a doubleheader at Jacksonville beginning at 5 p.m.
"Our team spent much of last year bettering ourselves in many ways off the field during the global pandemic, including some key elements of softball such as battling adversity and perseverance," added Kvilhaug. "After a solid fall where we were able to train again together, Team 38 is eager to hit the dirt and compete to win."'
ACC competition begins February 17-20 with pod play against North Carolina and NC State in Raleigh-Durham.
BC's 22-game home schedule at Harrington Athletics Village begins March 19 against Boston University.
All Boston College home games at Harrington Athletics Village in 2021 will be held without fans as a result of COVID-19. Only essential game management personnel and credentialed media will be permitted to attend this season.
BC's ACC Network and ACC Network Extra broadcasts for the upcoming season will be announced in the coming weeks. Check BCEagles.com for the latest information regarding game broadcasts.
