Hockey East Announces Schedule Updates, BC to Face Vermont

BC is now slated to host Vermont at 7 p.m. on Sunday and 3 p.m. on Monday.

WAKEFIELD, Mass. – Hockey East announced schedule changes on Tuesday with the Boston College women's hockey team now set to host Vermont for two games this weekend at Kelley Rink.

The Eagles and Catamounts will square off on Sunday, Jan. 24 at 7 p.m. and Monday, Jan. 25 at 3 p.m. Both Sunday and Monday's contests will be shown live on NESN, and the games will also be made available on CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports app outside of New England.

BC enters the series with UVM at 9-3-0 while the Catamounts come in at 5-1-0.

Additionally, Hockey East also announced that the previously released composite schedules - for both the men's and women's leagues - will be set aside and the remainder of the 2020-21 season will continue to be scheduled on a weekly basis. The move comes with a stated goal to create as much variety and parity in the schedule as possible while adhering to all required health and safety protocols with a maximum of seven weeks remaining in the regular season.
