Eagles Add Forward Trevor Kuntar to Incoming Class

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College men's hockey has added left-shot forward Trevor Kuntar to its incoming recruiting class for the 2020-21 season, bringing the total number of new Eagles to 12. Kuntar will wear No. 15 at BC.

Kuntar was named to the All-USHL Second Team this past season with the Youngstown Phantoms after leading the team with 28 goals and 53 points in 44 contests. His 28 goals were tied for third in the entire USHL and his 1.20 point-per-game average ranked 10th overall.

The forward was elected as an assistant captain and finished second on the team with 83 penalty minutes in 2019-20. Kuntar played a total of 148 USHL contests for Youngstown over three seasons and finished with 93 career points.

The Buffalo native was selected to represent the U.S. at the 2019 World Junior A Challenge and scored in overtime against the Czech Republic to win the bronze medal. He was also picked to participate in USA Hockey's annual BioSteel All-American Top Prospects Game in January.
