BC Drops Series Finale to Georgia Tech

ATLANTA – The Boston College softball team lost to Georgia Tech on Sunday, March 8 in the three-game series finale, 3-1.
Tech opened the scoring in the bottom of the first on an RBI single, then extended its lead in the bottom of the third on an RBI triple. The Yellow Jackets then took a 3-0 lead on an infield single in the third.
Susannah Anderson pitched four innings for BC, giving up six hits and three earned runs.
The Eagles scored its lone run of the game in the fourth inning on a solo home run from AJ Alatorre to left-center field.
CC Cook then came in to relieve Anderson, finishing out the game allowing no hits with one strikeout in two innings.
What's Next
The Eagles are back next weekend at Louisville from March 13-15. The first game of the series will be shown live on ACC Network.
