Taylor Soule leads Eagles with 26 points in victory.
GREENSBORO, N.C. - Sophomore Taylor Soule scored 12 of her game-high 26 points in the fourth quarter to lead No. 6 Boston College past No. 3 Duke, 84-77, at the Greensboro Coliseum on Friday night in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament.
Boston College will play No 2 NC state in the semifinals on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
With just under 4:35 left in the game the Eagles were down, 77-70. Soule's jumper started a 14-0 run. She tied the game at 77-77 on a traditional three-point play off a Duke turnover.
Senior Emma Guy, who had six points and five boards in the quarter, hit a layup with 1:46 to play to give BC the lead for good, 79-77. Soule salted the game away with five foul shots in the final 51 seconds.
Guy finished 6-for-9 from the floor for 14 points and grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds. Sophomore Makayla Dickens hit 4-of-5 from the three-point line and finished with 14 points and five assists, while sophomore Marnelle Garraud contributed 12 points.

- This is BC's second time in the semifinal round. BC advance to the semifinals in 2010. The Eagles, a seventh seed, defeated No. 10 Virginia Tech and No. 2 Florida State before bowing out in the semifinal against NC State.

- Boston College shot 54.4 percent in the game and 61.5 percent (8-for-13) in the fourth quarter.
