
Soule Tabbed as Most Improved Player in the ACC

Taylor Soule picks up another post season honor by the ACC.
GREENSBORO, N.C. - Sophomore Taylor Soule was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Most Improved Player as voted on by the head coaches and announced today.
This is only the second season the ACC has named a most improved player.
A 5-foot-10 forward, Soule leads the team in scoring (14.2) and rebounding (8.0). She is fourth in the ACC in field goal percentage (55%) and eighth in rebounding. Soule has scored in double-figures in a career-high 21 games and 13 times on the boards. She is fourth in the ACC in double-doubles (10).
In Soule's freshman season, she averaged just 7.9 points and 3.9 rebounds a game. Soule has also improved her free throw shooting percentage as she jumped from 64 percent to 71 percent this season.
A native of West Lebanon, N.H., Soule was named to the Blue Ribbon Panels All-ACC Second-Team and earned All-ACC Coaches honor roll honors on Monday.
Boston College (18-11, 11-7 ACC) finished tied in fourth in the ACC with Florida State and Virginia Tech. The Eagles earned a six seed in the ACC Tournament and will play the winner of Miami/Clemson on Thursday at 8 p.m. (RSN/NESN Plus).
