Eagles Move Up Record Books at Valentine Invitational

BOSTON – The Boston College women's track and field team completed its final meet before the ACC Indoor Championships, running at the BU Valentine Invitational on Friday, Feb. 14 at the BU Track and Tennis Center.
Emeline Delanis was BC's top finisher, placing fourth in the 5000m with a time of 16:03.09. Her time is also good enough to put her fourth all-time in the event and .1 seconds behind third.
Lauren White also moved onto the leaderboards for BC, running a 9:16.80 in the 3000m. Her time is now the third-fastest in program history, while Isabelle Kennedy's 9:25.79 in the event is the 10th-fastest in program history.
Monica Heil placed 29th in the 400m, but ran a time of 56.70, which is good for ninth all-time in the event at BC.

The Eagles are off until Feb. 27, when they compete in South Bend, Indiana at the ACC Indoor Championships.
