Eagles to Play Florida on Thursday in the Roman Legends Classic

BUBBLEVILLE, Conn. -- Boston College will take on Florida on Thursday, Dec. 3 as part of the Roman Legends Classic. The game will take place at Bubbleville - held at the Mohegan Sun Arena.

The Eagles and Gators will tip off at 9:30 p.m. and the game can be seen live on ESPN2.

This marks the fourth straight game to start the 2020-21 season for BC at "Conte Forum South." The Roman Legends Classic was originally a multi-team event (MTE), but due to COVID-related issues with Vanderbilt, the format has been switched to a showcase.

As a result, the previously scheduled home game against Rhode Island on Friday, Dec. 4 has been postponed. No make up date has been set. The two teams had already played this season as part of the 2K Empire Classic, with BC earning a 69-64 victory on Nov. 26. The home-and-home series between the Eagles and Rams was set to start at BC this season and finish at Rhode Island in 2021-22. BC will travel to the Ryan Center next season.
