Hockey East Reveals 2020-21 Schedule

Boston College home games at Conte Forum will be held without fans as a result of COVID-19. Schedules are tentative and subject to change.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Hockey East announced its 20-game conference-only schedule for the 2020-21 season today, with the Boston College women's hockey team slated to kick off the 20-game conference-only schedule on Friday, Nov. 20 at New Hampshire.
The league also announced its NESN schedule through Jan. 1 2021, with the Eagles 4:30 p.m. tilt at the Wildcats marking the first televised game of the year. It will be the first of three appearances on NESN for BC during the 2020 portion of its schedule.
After opening up at UNH on Friday, Nov. 20, BC then returns home the next day to host the Wildcats for another 4:30 p.m. contest on NESN. After making the trek to Vermont for two games on Nov. 27 and 28, the team will wrap up the first semester of play with home-and-home series against UConn and Northeastern.
The Eagles host Merrimack on Jan. 8 and make the return trip to North Andover the next day in the first action after the holiday break. BC will go on to play home-and-home sets with Holy Cross twice, Merrimack twice, Providence and UConn before hosting Maine for a two-game set at Kelley Rink.
The Commonwealth Avenue rivalry will be renewed to close out the regular season, with the Terriers coming to Kelley Rink on Feb. 26 and the Eagles traveling to Walter Brown Arena on Feb. 27.
Details on the 2021 Hockey East Tournament format will be announced at a later date. There are also two weekends that are designated as "flex weekends." These four contests are tentative and opponents may be adjusted in order to maintain a competitively balanced schedule for each team. If games are postponed during the regular season, these flex weekend games will be rescheduled with those postponed games. Any games played during flex weekends will be designated as non-conference games and will not count towards the league standings.
Hockey East will once again partner with NESN and ViacomCBS Digital to provide fans across the world the opportunity to view every single Hockey East game in the 2020-21 season. Today, Hockey East announced a slate of games that can be seen on NESN through January 1, as well as news that all other streamed games will be made available to fans for free on one of ViacomCBS Digital's platforms. Full television schedule details and How-To-Watch information about streamed games, as well as specific game times, will be announced in the coming days.
