Eagles Host Blue Devils on Thursday

The Eagles will be hosting their Pink Card Match, donning pink jerseys that will be auctioned off with the proceeds going to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital Auerbach Breast Center.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's soccer team will host No. 5 Duke on Thursday, Oct. 15 for a 4 p.m. match against the Blue Devils. The game will be live on NESN as well as ACCNX – which streams live on the ESPN App – as well as Fox Sports South. All home 2020 BC athletics events will be closed to the public due to Covid-19 protocols.
The game will also be the program's inaugural Pink Card Match. The team will be wearing pink jerseys which will be auctioned here, and donations can also be made here, with 80 percent of the proceeds going to support the Newton-Wellesley Auerbach Breast Center.

ABOUT DUKE
• Duke enters Thursday's contest with an overall mark of 3-1-2 and a record of 1-1-2 in ACC contests ... the Blue Devils tied Virginia (1-1) and Wake Forest (0-0) while falling to UNC (0-2) and topping Clemson (1-0) ... Duke also had a non-conference 4-3 win over Wake Forest and a 2-0 non-conference win over Virginia Tech.

• Boston College kicked off its eight-game ACC slate last weekend, traveling to face Notre Dame and Louisville ... the Eagles fell 2-0 in Indiana on Thursday and 2-0 in Kentucky and Sunday.
• The Fighting Irish scored two goals in the first half in what was the first meeting between the two teams since 2015 ... Allie Augur made a career-high eight saves for the Eagles ... the sophomore goalkeeper had six stops in the first half.
• On Sunday, the Cardinals scored once in each half for the win ... Louisville held a narrow 10-9 lead in shots ... Augur finished with two saves while Jillian Jennings had a game-high four shots for the Eagles.

• The sophomore made six saves in the first half.
• Her previous career-high was seven, set on Sept. 29, 2019 against No. 6 Florida State.
• It also marked the most saves in a single game for a BC goalkeeper since Alexis Bryant had 10 saves against Virginia on Oct. 18, 2015.
