Two Eagles Head to the 2021 U.S. Women's Amateur Four Ball

Angel Lin and Bibilani Liu qualify for event in April
SCITUATE, Mass. – Angel Lin and Bibilani Liu of the Boston College women's golf team are headed to the U.S. Women's Amateur Four Ball in April of 2021. The event will take place at Maridoe Golf Club in Carrollton, Texas.Â

The U.S Women's Four Ball Qualifier took place at Scituate Country Club on Tuesday. Lin and Liu finished in a tie for first place, shooting a -5 (67). The duo shot a 35 on the front nine, while finishing with a 32 on the back nine. Lin got the pair off to a great start by recording a birdie on hole one. Liu caught fire to begin the back nine, shooting par, birdie, birdie. The pair combined for five birdies on the day, which tied them for first place and successfully qualified for the 2021 U.S. Amateur Four Ball tournament.Â

Lin enters her freshman season at BC and is poised for great success as a member of the Eagles. Originally from British Columbia, her career highlights include winning two straight individual titles at the Victoria Police Championships and placing 10th at the 2019 Canadian Junior Girls Championships.

Entering her senior season as an Eagle, Liu has had her share of success at the Heights. As a junior, she placed fifth at the 2020 Jackrabbit Invitational at Boulder Creek Golf Course by shooting +2 over three rounds. She also led the Eagles in the 2019-20 season with a 31.5/round putting average, and was second on the team in fairways hit at 83%.       Â
