Greco Selected as Hockey East Co-Player of the Week

WAKEFIELD, Mass. – Senior forward Ron Greco was selected as the Hockey East Co-Player of the Week on Monday along with Tim Doherty of Maine.
Greco netted his first career hat trick on Saturday afternoon in an 8-3 home win over Vermont, extending Boston College's nation-best winning streak to 10 games. He also picked up the game-winner in just his second career multi-goal game.
Greco added an assist for a career-high four points and finished the contest with a plus-three rating. The senior and his sophomore linemates Marc McLaughlin and Patrick Giles combined for four goals and nine points against UVM.Â
Greco and the Eagles are ranked fourth in both national polls this week ahead of a home-and-home series with No. 10 UMass this weekend. The opener is set for Friday (Jan. 10) at 7 p.m. on NESN at Kelley Rink.
