Eric Sollee Invitational Up Next for Eagles

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College fencing team will travel to Brandeis University on Saturday, Feb. 1 for the Eric Sollee Invitational.

A total of 10 teams are set to take part in the meet, with six bouts scheduled for each school on Saturday. The Eagles will face the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Penn, New York University, Hunter College, Haverford and the Stevens Institute of Technology. At last year's Eric Sollee Invitational, hosted by MIT, the women went 6-0 while the men went 4-2.

-The Eagles clinched the Northeast Fencing Conference title last weekend at home, with the men taking home their second consecutive title while the women clinched their fifth consecutive title.
-The men defeated Brandeis, Vassar, Dartmouth, Tufts and MIT while the women picked up wins over Vassar, Brandeis, Dartmouth, Tufts and MIT.

Boston College will return to action on Wednesday, Feb. 12 when it hosts Harvard, MIT and Brandeis for the Beanpot at the Margot Connell Recreation Center.
