
Eagles Selected for USTFCCCA Team Academic Award; Kennedy, White Earn Honors

NEW ORLEANS – Isabelle Kennedy and Lauren White earn USTFCCCA Women's Cross Country All-Academic honors, while the Boston College women's cross country team also earned the USTFCCCA Team Academic Award.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, student athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-25 (or 10 percent) at the NCAA Regional Championships or as an All-American at the NCAA Championships.
Kennedy earned both All-ACC and All-Northeast Region honors for her finishes during the 2019 season. She placed 11th at the ACC Championships with a time of 21:06.9 and 12th at the NCAA Northeast Regional with a time of 19.49.8. The graduate student went on to place 51st at the NCAA Championships with a time of 20:58.6.
White also earned All-ACC and All-Northeast Region honors in 2019. She finished in 17th at the ACC Championships with a time of 21:17.4 and followed it up with another 17th-place finish at the NCAA Northeast Regionals with a time of 19:59.8.
Boston College is also one of 237 teams to earn All-Academic honors. In order to qualify, a team must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
