Eagles Move into 26th in USTFCCCA Coaches’ Poll; 2nd in Northeast Region

NEW ORLEANS – After a strong second-place finish at the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown, the Boston College women's cross country team is ranked 26th in the USTFCCCA Women's Cross Country Poll.
With the movement up, BC has also moved into second in the USTFCCCA Northeast Region.
BC is led by senior Emeline Delanis, who placed sixth at the Battle in Beantown this weekend and led a group that had five runners in the top-30 at the race. Following Delanis was Isabelle Kennedy, who finished in 10th with a time of 17:35.
The Eagles have already begun racking up accolades as Delanis was named ACC Women's Performer of the Week following the UMass Invitational, where she ran a 17:12 to win the meet.
The national ranking is BC's highest in three years.
