Junior collects his sixth career ACC running back of the week accolade
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced on Monday that Boston College's AJ Dillon has been named ACC Running Back of the Week.

It marked the sixth time in Dillon's career he has been named ACC Running Back of the Week.

Dillon posted his 17th career game with at least one rushing touchdown Friday night against visiting Kansas. With 151 yards, he earned his 13th career 100-yard game and his eighth with at least 150 yards to tie for the sixth-most 100-yard rushing games in BC history.

Dillon moved into a tie for 13th all-time in career scoring at BC with 180 points. Dillon also became the sixth Boston College player to rush for 3,000 career rushing yards (now 3,015 for his career).

Dillon and the Eagles return to action Saturday, Sept. 21 at Rutgers. Kickoff is set for noon in Piscataway, N.J. with live coverage on BTN and the Boston College Learfield IMG Sports Network (WEEI 93.7 FM).
