Eagles Place Fourth for Harry Anderson Trophy; Fifth at Pen Bay Open

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College sailing team competed at two regattas over the weekend, placing fourth for the Harry Anderson Trophy and fifth at the Penobscot Bay Open.

Down in New Haven for the Harry Anderson Trophy, the trio of Sophia Reineke, Mikayla Mathieu and Declan McGranahan finished in seventh place in the Division A with 111 points. Reineke competed in all 18 races on the weekend, while Mathieu competed in races 1-5 and 10-14 and McGranahan in races 6-9 and 15-18. The duo of Robert Hunter and Zoe Ting competed in every race in Division B, finishing in sixth with 126 points.

Up at Maine Maritime, the pairing of Colin Brego and Katharine Bowman placed sixth in all divisions at the Pen Bay Open with 79 points. Trailing that pair was the duo of Emma Batcher and Jack Plavan, who scored 103 points, good for 10th place.
