2019 Football Theme Days Announced

Six-game home schedule features Virginia Tech and Florida State
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College Athletics has announced its theme days for the 2019 home football schedule that features ACC rivals Florida State and Virginia Tech, as well as NC State, Wake Forest and two non-conference match-ups against Kansas and Richmond at Alumni Stadium. Â Â Â Â

Boston College vs. Virginia Tech, Saturday, August 31 – Community Day
All local community groups and organizations are invited to take advantage of special group pricing and support the Eagles on Community Day. Other themes include Labor Union Day and Cheer/Dance Day.

Boston College vs. Richmond, Saturday, September 7 – Youth and Spirit Day
Week two of the season features a matchup with Richmond and local youth football and cheerleading teams will be invited to take part in a variety of game day traditions, including the Eagle Walk, FanFest and other activities. Kids will also have the opportunity to take part in a number of festivities throughout the game, which will be announced at a later date. Â Other themes will include Special Olympics Day and Charity Day.

Boston College vs. Kansas, Friday, September 13 - Military Appreciation Day
Boston College will recognize and honor the men and women of our military throughout the game. Other themes will include Student Friday Night Lights. More information will be available at a later date. Â

Boston College vs. Wake Forest, Saturday, September 28 – Parents' Weekend
Join us for Parents' Weekend, a tradition that allows families to celebrate all that makes the Boston College experience unlike any other. Highlights of the weekend will include the Pops on the Heights,

Scholarship Gala Friday night and the parents' pregame barbecue Saturday. Ticket information for the Pops on the Heights will be posted on www.bc.edu/parentsweekend as they become available.
Boston College vs. NC State, Saturday, October 19 - Homecoming
Come back to Alumni Stadium with family and friends and watch the Eagles take on NC State in an ACC showdown.  Special Homecoming events for Alumni and Students will be announced in August. Programming for gameday will honor Eagle traditions past and present. Other themes will include Faith and Family Day, School Day, and Group Leader Appreciation Day.

Boston College vs. Florida State, Saturday, November 9 – Red Bandanna/Service Day Game
As an annual tradition and one of most special days of the season, Boston College will honor Welles Crowther, a former lacrosse player who is credited with saving at least a dozen people in the south tower of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 in the annual Red Bandanna/Service Day Game. Â In addition, other community members will be recognized for going above and beyond the university's mission of Men and Women for Others. Other themes will include First Responder Day and Scout Day.

Season tickets and mini plans are on sale now. Single game ticket pre-sale for our current season ticket members will begin the week of May 13. Admission for all children age four and younger is free for all home games. Â

Group ticket packages are now on sale, starting at $10. Benefits include group leader concession discounts cards and access to in-game group experiences such as on field performances, scrimmages in Alumni Stadium and Fish Field House, and the opportunity to be on the field with the team for the national anthem.
