BC Rowing in action twice over the weekend.

BOSTON – BC Women's Rowing raced locally on Saturday and Sunday; competing against Northeastern and Boston University of Saturday and against Holy Cross and Connecticut in Worcester on Sunday. All boats raced hard and competed well both days, showing progress from the previous week.

The team swept its races against Holy Cross and UConn for the second year in a row, and the Varsity 8 retained the Irving-Christian Cup, winning a close race with UConn by .75 seconds. On Saturday, the 2nd Varsity 8 and Varsity 4 placed second, defeating Boston University and compeiting well with winning boats from Northeastern.

Next weekend the Eagles compete at the Knecht Cup on the Cooper River in Cherry Hill, N.J.
