Women's Track Finishes Strong at 125th Penn Relays

Individuals and relays perform well in Philadelphia
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Boston College's women's track & field team competed on Thursday at the 125th running of the Penn Relays, held at Franklin Field on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania.
Paige Duca and Isabelle Kennedy raced in the 3,000m during Thursday night's Distance Carnival. Duca clocked 9:40.00, placing seventh, while Kennedy was close behind in 9:49.79, good for 10th place.
Amanda Sinkewicz placed 10th in the college women's javelin championship section, with a toss of 38.78m (127'2"). Julia Lyons was 14th in the college women's long jump, with a leap of 5.47m (17'11.5").
The Eagles' distance mediey (1200-400-800-1600) squad of Gianna Bender, Monica Heil, Erin McGill, and Katherine DeLoreto placed 10th in a time of 11:50.50.
