Eagles Prepare for 2019 ACC Women's Golf Championship
April 17, 2019 | Women's Golf
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College women's golf competes in the 2019 ACC Championship this week at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina. The Championship will be held Thursday-Saturday (April 18-20) at the 6,089-yard, par 72 championship course.
The Eagles will begin the competition on Thursday morning with a shotgun start as each group will tee off at 8:30 a.m. In an effort to avoid inclement weather in the Greensboro area on Friday, teams will now play the first and second rounds (36 holes) on Thursday and there will be no play on Friday.
The ACC Championship is making its return to Sedgefield after a two-year hiatus that interrupted a span of eight consecutive championships hosted by the course. Final round play will be carried live on ACC Network Extra beginning 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, with Roy Philpott and Donna Andrews on the call.Â
