STATESBORO, Ga. – In its final tournament before the 2019 ACC Championship, Boston College women's golf competes in the Strutter Gus Invitational at the par-72, 6,111 yard Georgia Southern University Course on Sunday and Monday.Â
The seven-team field includes host Georgia Southern along with St. John's, Fairleigh Dickinson, Florida Atlantic, High Point and Stetson.
In the Eagles' last event, Ailin Li was the top Boston College finisher at the seventh annual Briar's Creek Invitational, hosted by the College of Charleston, as she tied for 36th in a field of nearly 100 golfers from 17 schools.

Li entered the final round in a tie for 15th at even par following her first two rounds on Monday, including a 71, but she shot a +8 round of 80 in the final round to drop outside the top-30. Alexa Rivas rebounded from an opening round 81 with scores of 74 and 76 to finish in a tie for 63rd overall at +15.
Rivas was the most consistent Eagle over the two days in South Carolina with 36 pars, while Li made nine birdies to rank top-20 in the field.
BC will compete in the ACC Championship from Thursday, April 18 to Saturday, April 20 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
