Men's Track & Field Opens Outdoor Season at UNF

Eagles begin competition on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — The Boston College men's track & field team begins its 2019 outdoor season on Friday, March 22 at the UNF Spring Break Invitational in Jacksonville, Fla. The Eagles recently concluded an outstanding indoor track & field campaign that featured 16 top 10 all-time performances in Boston College history, including eight top-five marks.
"We are looking to open up strong and start laying a foundation for the championship season in May," said head coach Matt Kerr. "The opener is about competing head-to-head and not worrying too much about the stop watch. We have a strong outdoor schedule and we will aim for ACC and NCAA First Round qualifiers in coming weeks."
The Eagles will compete throughout the day at Hodges Stadium, beginning with the 1,500m run and triple jump at 4:30 p.m. Live scoring and results are available throughout the meet by clicking here.
