Eagles to Compete in Briar's Creek Invitational in South Carolina

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's golf team will compete in the seventh annual Briar's Creek Invitational, hosted by the College of Charleston, on March 18-19 at The Golf Club at Briar's Creek on Johns Island, South Carolina. The par-72 course designed by Rees Jones will play at 6,101 yards.

LAST TIME OUT
Snow shortened the 2019 River Landing Classic to just one completed round as BC finished 14th overall at the River Course in UNC Wilmington's annual tournament. Alexa Rivas and Linrui Chen were tied as the top Eagle finishers in 26th place as each player recorded a +3 round of 75 on day one. Chen was tied for fifth at the tournament with three birdies in her opening round.

EAGLE STATS
Entering the Briar's Creek Invitational, Bibilani Liu leads the Eagles in scoring average this season along with par-5 scoring. She is tied with Katie Kim in greens in regulation, while Kim paces the squad in fairways hit. Ailin Li is tops this season in both putting and scrambling.

Boston College will travel to Statesboro, Georgia for the Strutter Gus Invitational on March 31 and April 1 for its final tournament before the ACC Championship.
