
Baseball Home Opener Moved Up to Tuesday

BC hosts Holy Cross March 12 at 3:30; road game at UConn changed to March 27.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College baseball team's Tuesday game against Holy Cross has been moved from Worcester to BC's campus due to field conditions. First pitch for the Eagles' home opener at the Harrington Athletics Village is set for 3:30 p.m. Admission is free to all BC baseball home games.
Tuesday, March 12 will mark the earliest home game in BC baseball history; having previously played Connecticut at Shea Field on March 19, 2000. The Eagles opened the Harrington Athletics Village on Boston College's Brighton campus on March 20, 2018 vs. Northeastern.
Boston College is 8-6 on the season and 1-2 in the ACC after claiming wins at Kentucky and No. 8 Louisville last week.
The Eagles and UConn have also announced a change to their schedule later this month as BC's game in Storrs, Conn. Has been moved from Tuesday, March 26 to Wednesday, March 27.
