CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Ky Bowman is one of 10 finalists for the 2019 Bob Cousy Award, it was announced today by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
Named after Hall of Famer and former Boston Celtic guard and Boston College head coach Bob Cousy, the annual honor is in its 16th year of recognizing the top point guards in Division I men's college basketball. A national committee comprising top college basketball personnel determined the watch list of 20 candidates in October, which has now been narrowed to just 10.
In March, five finalists will be presented to Mr. Cousy and the Hall of Fame's selection committee.
