Eagles Return to Vermont for Middlebury Carnival

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College alpine skiing team returns to Vermont this weekend (Feb. 15-16) for the Middlebury Carnival, hosted at the Middlebury Snow Bowl in Hancock. Live timing of the final event prior to the EISA Championships is available through the EISA website.
Last Friday's giant slalom at the Dartmouth Carnival was postponed due to rain and icy conditions, and the makeup date is tentatively scheduled for Sunday (Feb. 17) in Lyme, New Hampshire.Â

Friday, Feb. 15: Men's Slalom (9:30 a.m. first run, followed by Women's SL)
Saturday, Feb. 16: Women's Giant Slalom (9:30 a.m. first run, followed by Men's GS)

DARTMOUTH RECAP
Last weekend, the Eagles competed in the Dartmouth Carnival, held at the Dartmouth Skiway. Trent Gutstein and Bobby Ryan both finished inside the top-35 in the men's slalom, as Gutstein placed 31st with a combined time of 1:41.04. Ryan was just two spots behind Gutstein in 33rd with his time of 1:41.42.

Parker Biele led the women's team and barely missed a top-35 with a 36th place finish as she posted a combined time of 1:49.11. Natalie Wetmore (1:50.16) placed 41st for the Eagles, while Kelsie Grant (2:11.12) earned 49th.

Next weekend, Boston College travels to Sunday River for the EISA Championships, which will take place at the Bates Carnival in Maine.Â
