BC Men's and Women's Fencing Earned Second Place Finishes at the Annual Beanpot

WALTHAM, Mass. – The Boston College men's and women's fencing teams were in action last night at the annual Beanpot Meet. Both sides went 2-1 on the evening earning second place finishes.

Men's Stats

BC v. MIT: 19-8
Foil 6-3, Epee 5-4, Sabre 8-1

BC v. Brandeis: 14-13
Foil 6-3, Epee 3-6, Sabre 5-4

BC v. No. 2 Harvard: 5-22
Foil 1-8, Epee 2-7, Sabre 2-7

Women's Stats

BC v. MIT: 23-4
Foil 9-0, Epee 6-3, Sabre 8-1

BC v. Brandeis: 22-5
Foil 6-3, Epee 7-2, Sabre 9-0

Both teams are back in competition at the ACC Championships, hosted by Boston College, Saturday, Feb. 23 through Sunday, Feb. 24.
