Eagles Chase 21st Beanpot Title Monday Against No. 13 Northeastern

BOSTON – Boston College meets reigning champion Northeastern in the title game of the 67th Beanpot on Monday night (Feb. 11) at TD Garden as the Eagles compete for their 21st Beanpot trophy in program history and first since 2016. The game will be televised live on NESN following the conclusion of Harvard vs. Boston University in the consolation game. Pre-game radio coverage begins at 7:15 p.m. on WEEI 850 AM and BCEagles.com.Â
SETTING THE SCENE
• BC is 3-2-1 in its last six games, including a 2-1 victory over 17th-ranked Harvard last Monday to open the Beanpot
• The Eagles are searching for their eighth Beanpot in the last 12 years and first since 2016
• Northeastern, which won its first Beanpot in 30 years last season by downing Boston University 5-2, defeated the Terriers 2-1 in overtime last week to reach a second straight title game
• For the first time in tournament history, the last four champions represent all four competing Beanpot schools
