Knight Earns Hockey East Rookie of the Week Honors

WAKEFIELD, Mass. – Spencer Knight has been named the Pro Ambitions Hockey East Rookie of the Week following his performance in a weekend sweep of Vermont at Gutterson Fieldhouse this past Friday and Saturday.
Knight stopped 61 of the 62 shots he faced in Burlington for a .984 save percentage. He posted a 34-save shutout on Saturday night, his third shutout in 11 starts to begin his career, including 17 stops in the first period.
The rookie netminder pushed his personal winning streak to five, during which he owns a 0.80 goals against average and a .971 save percentage.
Boston College (7-4-0, 5-2-0 HEA) rose to 14th in this week's USCHO.com poll. The Eagles are idle this weekend before hosting Yale on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at Kelley Rink.
