
No. 7 Eagles Head to Holy Cross For Hockey East Matchup

Boston College plays its third consecutive road game and Hockey East game to open up the 2019-20 season.
The Eagles opened up the 2019-20 campaign last weekend with two Hockey East wins at Merrimack, topping the Warriors 2-0 and 3-1. Cayla Barnes leads the team with three points on three assists while Savannah Norcross (2-0-2), Caroline DiFiore (1-1-2) and Hannah Bilka (0-2-2) each have two points. The Crusaders are coming off two ties – 3-3 and 1-1 – at home against CHA school Penn State. Holy Cross opened up the 2019-20 season on Sept. 21, falling 4-1 on the road at Colgate. Rachel Moore has a team-high three points on one goal and two assists.

• Saturday's 3-1 win saw Hadley Hartmetz tie the game up late in the first period with her first career goal before Norcross scored the eventual game-winner midway through the second ... Olivia Finocchiaro got her first of the year early in the third while McArthur stopped 23 shots.
• On the weekend, BC went 3-for-13 on the power play while keeping Merrimack to 0-for-14 on the advantage.

• Hadley Hartmetz potted her first career goal in a 3-1 win over Merrimack on Sept. 28.
• Hannah Bilka tallied her first career point with an assist in a 3-1 win at Merrimack on Sept. 28 ... it was a two-assist outing.
MEET THE CAPTAINS
• Erin Connolly and Lindsay Agnew will serve as captains of the 2019-20 Eagles while Molly Barrow and Delaney Belinskas will serve as assistant captains.
• All four players are first-time captains for BC and all four players are seniors.
