Baseball Hosts Fall Scrimmages Oct. 18 and 26

Eagles take one D-II Southern New Hampshire Friday at 4:45 p.m.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- The Boston College baseball teams hosts a pair of fall scrimmages this month beginning with Southern New Hampshire on Friday, Oct. 18 at 4:45 p.m. from the Harrington Athletics Village. The second and final scrimmage of the fall slate takes place on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 4 p.m. against Quinnipiac.
Admission is free to all BC baseball home games.
This Friday's game marks the first opportunity for fans to see the 2020 Eagles and their 11-player freshman class. BC is coming off a 31-27 2019 campaign, which saw the Eagles reach the ACC Championship Semifinals for the first time in program history.
BC returns one of two All-Americans from last season in sophomore Cody Morrissette. The second baseman was recently identified as a top-30 MLB prospect in the 2021 draft class along with classmates Sal Frelick (outfield) and Mason Pelio (pitcher).
Head coach Mike Gambino, who enters his 10th season at the helm of the program, and the Eagles will release their complete 2020 spring schedule at the conclusion of fall ball.
